Niton
Niton is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Niton and Whitwell.
It is situated to the west of the nearest main town of Ventnor and about a mile to the south west of Whitwell. Niton has a population of approximately 2000 people.
The village has a school and pre-school, a library and several churches. There are two pubs in the village centre with another in Lower Niton. It also has a busy village shop, a pharmacy and post office.
