Notice is hereby given that the following Orders have been made under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: –
The Isle of Wight Council (Newport Road, Niton, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 3 2026
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one shift between Friday 13 February 2026, and Monday 16 February 2026, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Newport Road, Niton. For its entire length. On-street signage will depict the exact length of the closure. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during Carriageway repairs

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0930 and 1530 hours on Wednesday 4 March 2026, or when the works has been completed, Godshill Road will be closed for its entire length. On-street signage will depict the exact length of the closure. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The restriction is required for utility works.

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours on Thursday 5 March 2026 until 1800 hours on Monday 9 March 2026, or when the works has been completed, Southford Lane will be closed for its entire length. On-street signage will depict the exact length of the closure. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The restriction is required for utility works.
The Isle of Wight Council (Niton Road, Rookley, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 1 2026
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one shift between Thursday 26 February 2026, and Friday 27 February 2026, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Niton Road, Rookley. For its entire length. On-street signage will depict the exact length of the closure. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during Carriageway repairs.
Military Road Brighstone and Marsh Green
The road will be closed between New Road in Brighstone and Marsh Green – a section of roughly 600 metres.
However, the official diversion route for the closure involves travelling through Chale Green, Shorwell and Brighstone to reach back to the Military Road.
A full closure of the road will be in force on weekdays, starting on Monday, March 2 and lasting until Friday, April 17.
